# Can I point an A record to a package and get the free SSL certificate?

No, unfortunately not.

The main hosting provider, 20i, enforces an unnecessary regulation that you need to use their stack nameservers and tries to force you to buy an SSL certificate from them; but there are many places to buy them cheaper or free 90 day certificates, so don't fall into this trap.
