  • Next, we need you to create an administrator account in your WordPress installation using the username and email address we provide. This enables us to access and manage your website with the appropriate permissions.

We endeavour to respond to your support ticket promptly and schedule your task accordingly. For updates, changes, and repairs, we prioritise each during our core office hours, which are 06:00 – 18:00 CET Monday to Thursday, and 06:00 – 14:00 CET on Fridays.

We understand the unpredictable nature of business; therefore, outside these hours, we remain committed to providing support as swiftly and effectively as possible, on a best endeavour basis.

Although we work CET time, we try to align with UK Bank Holidays where possible

Does the contract include licences for all plugins and themes?

No, commercial plugins, components, and extensions that require a software licence for updates will incur charges based on the developer’s cost.

Do maintenance hours roll over to the next month?
No. We protect you, our other clients, and our ourselves by forecasting and planning based on active plan hours for the month. This ensures we have resources available when needed.
Will you re-design my website under this contract?

No, this service is primarily for monthly maintenance, including website and plugin upkeep. Development work such as custom post types is not included but can be quoted at a discounted rate for clients with a hosting package.

What happens if my website is hacked, breaks, goes down, etc?

We provide care plans to take preventative care and work hard to prevent issues. However, if something does go wrong, we will fix it as quickly as possible. While we can’t guarantee that your website won’t get hacked, we ensure daily backups are in place for restoration and provide malware removal for any residual malicious code on your server.

Can I use my own web host?

Absolutely! Although our care plans include fast hosting, we can work with your current hosting. Some security hardening and hosting tweaks may not be implementable, but we will discuss this with you on a case-by-case basis.

Is there a contract length?

As we offer a pay-as-you-go, month-to-month service, there is no set contract length. However, we do require a commitment to an initial three-month period for the setup of your website, and this will be billed at the start of our service.

This is because auditing your site, transferring it to our servers (if requested), and configuring it on our maintenance system requires significant time and resources. We need to incur these costs to provide you with the best possible service.

We hope that you will find the benefits of our service outweigh the initial set-up costs and continue with us beyond the three-month period. If not, you are free to leave without any further obligations.

How can I cancel my services?

To cancel, just email us anytime. There’s an initial 3-month contract that you agree to. After that, it turns into a rolling monthly contract that you can cancel at any time during the month and it won’t continue to the next.

If we’re hosting your site, you might want to switch to a monthly ‘hosting only’ plan or if moving away, arrange to have your new web host move your site for you.

We like to keep our customers for a long time, but we understand things can change. We’d be sad to see you go, but we get it.

What are your support ticket response times?

We aim to respond to your ticket as quickly as possible, often immediately, but an instant response isn’t always feasible, but you’ll receive an automated reply to aknowledge your request.

We endeavour to resolve issues on the same day, giving priority to breakdowns and errors that impact website functionality. Fixes that require website downtime are typically undertaken outside of core office hours, unless they are urgent.

I have more than one website – do you offer a discount?

Yes, we offer a 20% discount for each additional website up to 10 websites. Beyond that, each additional website will receive a 40% discount. If you are an agency, our white label service for maintaining client websites may be more cost-effective for you.

What do you class as updates to the content?

We will edit or update pages, posts, custom post types, and plugin content, adding text and images supplied pre-formatted by you. We strive to keep your site updated as required but will need to quote separately for design work, creating custom post types, or custom development.

Which countries do you offer WordPress tech support and maintenance for?

We primarily focus on the UK market but can support sites in any English-speaking country. We currently manage websites for clients in Hungary and Germany, as they communicate in English and provide content verbatim, and their WordPress dashboards are in English. So, we can support you too if you fit this category.

Can I cancel the maintenance service anytime?

While we’d hate to see you leave, we understand that circumstances change. After the initial 3-month commitment, there are no lock-in contracts. Just email us, and we’ll cancell the contract from the month end.

Do you maintain WooCommerce websites?

Are there any limitations to what your service can fix?

We’ve gained experience in tackling many WordPress issues over the years, but there may be rare instances where a problem is beyond our scope. In such cases, we’ll seek additional expertise to find a solution, although this may lengthen the fix time.

Although a UK business, we have offices in both the UK and Central Europe, where we try to work from most of the time, especially as the weather is usually better in the summer!

Our service is primarily dedicated to routine maintenance and site updates, in line with the time allocation specified in your plan.

Tasks beyond this scope, such as web design, specific plugin support, custom post type development, theme development, blog creation, content creation, and creating new layouts, are not included in the standard maintenance package. However, we are equipped and ready to assist with these tasks. All such additional work will be assessed, quoted, and agreed upon separately.

How much do you charge for extra development work?

Custom development work outside our standard maintenance service is currently charged at £65 per hour, covering a wide range of development needs and we always provide a quote and obtain written confirmation before undertaking this work.

For larger, more complex jobs, we will quote a fixed price rather than an hourly rate – again with written agreement.
