Let Us Take Responsibility for Your Website’s Smooth Running and Availability
Your website is more than just your online presence; it’s a pivotal part of your business. And like a car, your site needs regular care and maintenance to keep it updated, fast, and secure.
If your website is not working or is hacked when your clients are searching for you, who do you contact for a swift resolution? Computancy has been maintaining clients’ websites for many years. We offer a WordPress maintenance and care plan that suits both your website’s needs and your budget.
Our support packages are proactive and extend beyond just technical issues; we’ll also advise if there are areas on your site that could be improved to attract more visitors or enhance conversions. We’re here to provide expert guidance and support, tailoring our services to meet your specific business requirements.
We manage your website, allowing you to focus on your business…
We recognise that keeping your website updated, secure, and consistently available can be a time-consuming task – and we all know time equals money!
Select from our versatile website maintenance and support options: whether you prefer pay-as-you-go or one of our comprehensive monthly subscriptions, we provide a complete solution tailored to your WordPress care requirements.
Our monthly WordPress maintenance plans include swift, dependable UK website hosting and daily backups to ensure the safety of your data and facilitate quick restoration should any major issues arise.
Standard in all our packages is 24/7/365 security and uptime monitoring, giving you peace of mind that your site is protected, secure, and consistently online.
With our Ultimate Care package, we also offer a complimentary migration of your up-to-date WordPress site from another cPanel server to ours. You don’t need to handle this yourself – it’s all part of the service.
Do you support all WordPress websites?
Mostly, yes, but there are exceptions. Before committing to support your website, we conduct a thorough audit. This step is vital to assess if we can provide the highest standard of care and maintenance for your website.
For sites that are significantly outdated, poorly maintained, or built with foundational issues, a comprehensive rebuild might be required to ensure effective servicing. Should this be necessary for your site, we’ll offer straightforward, honest advice, and this initial assessment comes at no cost to you.
On occasion, we come across websites, including large multi-sites, extensive e-commerce platforms, and blogs with substantial content, that may be too intricate or demanding for us to support effectively and affordably. Our goal is to offer the best solutions within reasonable boundaries.
Websites built on platforms like Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, and Shopify are tailored for specific hosting environments, so we cannot host or offer migration and support for these platforms.
After our audit, we’ll have a detailed understanding of your website’s unique requirements. This enables us to customise our support to best suit your needs. So, why wait? Request an audit today – we’re keen to discover how we can work together and enhance your WordPress website.

Getting Started with Your WordPress or WooCommerce Care and Maintenance Plan
After signing up for your chosen care package, we’ll quickly and easily integrate you into our maintenance system
First, we’ll set up an account for you on our Client Portal. Here, you can log in at any time to open a ticket, review, and reopen your closed tickets if a problem reoccurs.
After logging in, we’ll ask you to complete our Client Worksheet. This secure web form collects login details for your WordPress dashboard, your web hosting account, and your domain registrar information. This step is essential for providing us with the necessary access to manage your website effectively.
Our portal is simple and user-friendly, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Next, we need you to create an administrator account in your WordPress installation using the username and email address we provide. This enables us to access and manage your website with the appropriate permissions.
Don’t worry if you’re unsure how to do this – we’re here to help. We will guide you through the process or, if preferred, we can handle the creation of this account on your behalf.
This step is crucial for allowing us to carry out essential maintenance and updates seamlessly.
Once we have access to your site, we will install maintenance, reporting, and backup software plugins. This allows us to connect your website to our central maintenance dashboard.
Through this, we can monitor your site remotely for necessary updates to plugins, themes, and the WordPress core, without needing to log in to the backend each time.
The plugin also tracks other maintenance tasks, like completed backups, security scans, and changes made by your users. This is crucial for troubleshooting any issues in the future.
If we are hosting your account, we’ll need access to your domain registrar to update the DNS settings as soon as the site transfer is complete. Alternatively, we can liaise with your current developer to manage this.
This step is vital for ensuring that your website’s hosting environment is optimised for performance, security, and reliability.
We’ll work closely with you or your team to guarantee a smooth transition with no downtime.
Once everything is set up and functioning correctly on our systems, we’ll confirm this with you. Then, you can relax, knowing your site is in safe hands.
Remember, if you encounter any problems, you can easily get in touch. Our dedicated support team is available to assist with any queries or issues that may arise, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
We are committed to providing you with continuous support and peace of mind regarding your website’s health and performance.
WordPress Care & Maintenance Plans FAQs: Essential Insights for Your Website’s Success
We endeavour to respond to your support ticket promptly and schedule your task accordingly. For updates, changes, and repairs, we prioritise each during our core office hours, which are 06:00 – 18:00 CET Monday to Thursday, and 06:00 – 14:00 CET on Fridays.
We understand the unpredictable nature of business; therefore, outside these hours, we remain committed to providing support as swiftly and effectively as possible, on a best endeavour basis.
Although we work CET time, we try to align with UK Bank Holidays where possible

No, this service is primarily for monthly maintenance, including website and plugin upkeep. Development work such as custom post types is not included but can be quoted at a discounted rate for clients with a hosting package.
We provide care plans to take preventative care and work hard to prevent issues. However, if something does go wrong, we will fix it as quickly as possible. While we can’t guarantee that your website won’t get hacked, we ensure daily backups are in place for restoration and provide malware removal for any residual malicious code on your server.
Absolutely! Although our care plans include fast hosting, we can work with your current hosting. Some security hardening and hosting tweaks may not be implementable, but we will discuss this with you on a case-by-case basis.
As we offer a pay-as-you-go, month-to-month service, there is no set contract length. However, we do require a commitment to an initial three-month period for the setup of your website, and this will be billed at the start of our service.
This is because auditing your site, transferring it to our servers (if requested), and configuring it on our maintenance system requires significant time and resources. We need to incur these costs to provide you with the best possible service.
We hope that you will find the benefits of our service outweigh the initial set-up costs and continue with us beyond the three-month period. If not, you are free to leave without any further obligations.
To cancel, just email us anytime. There’s an initial 3-month contract that you agree to. After that, it turns into a rolling monthly contract that you can cancel at any time during the month and it won’t continue to the next.

We’ve gained experience in tackling many WordPress issues over the years, but there may be rare instances where a problem is beyond our scope. In such cases, we’ll seek additional expertise to find a solution, although this may lengthen the fix time.
Although a UK business, we have offices in both the UK and Central Europe, where we try to work from most of the time, especially as the weather is usually better in the summer!
